How to Use

1. Cleanse the wound area thoroughly with saline or a suitable wound cleanser, according to clinical practice.
2. Gently dry the skin around the wound to ensure proper adhesion of the dressing.
3. Select a Mepilex dressing size that extends at least 1-2 cm onto the surrounding healthy skin.
4. Remove the release films from the Safetac adhesive side of the dressing.
5. Apply the adhesive side to the wound, ensuring full contact without stretching the dressing.
6. For wounds with higher exudate, a secondary dressing or fixation tape may be used if necessary, although Mepilex often provides sufficient self-adhesion.
7. Change the dressing according to the wound condition and exudate level, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
