How to Use

Follow these steps for accurate blood glucose testing:

1. Ensure your Accu-Chek Performa blood glucose meter is clean and ready for use.
2. Remove an Accu-Chek Performa test strip from its vial and immediately close the cap tightly.
3. Insert the metallic end of the test strip firmly into the test strip port of your meter.
4. Prepare your lancing device and obtain a small drop of blood from your fingertip.
5. Touch the yellow dosing area of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be automatically drawn into the strip.
6. Wait for 5 seconds for the blood glucose result to appear on the meter’s display.
7. Record your result in your logbook and safely dispose of the used test strip.
