Benefits of Use:

  • Reduced Pain: Engineered with fine gauge and unique bevel design for smoother penetration, minimizing discomfort during injection.
  • Precise Delivery: Ensures accurate and consistent medication dosage delivery, crucial for effective therapy.
  • Universal Compatibility: Designed to fit most major brands of insulin and medication pens.
  • Sterile and Safe: Each needle is sterile and single-use, reducing the risk of infection and ensuring hygiene.
  • Reliable Performance: Manufactured to high-quality standards for consistent and dependable use.

How to Use:

  1. Prepare Your Pen: Ensure your medication pen is ready according to its manufacturer's instructions, including checking the medication and dialing the correct dose.
  2. Attach the Needle: Carefully peel off the protective tab from the ACCUMAX Pen Needle. Screw or push the needle straight onto the pen until it is securely fastened.
  3. Remove Outer Cap: Pull off the outer protective cap and save it for safe needle disposal.
  4. Prime the Pen (if required): Follow your pen's instructions for priming (usually a small dose released into the air) to ensure proper flow and remove air bubbles.
  5. Administer Injection: Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. Pinch a fold of skin if advised by your doctor. Insert the needle straight or at an angle as instructed. Push the injection button completely.
  6. Wait and Withdraw: After injection, count to 5-10 seconds before withdrawing the needle to ensure full dose delivery.
  7. Safe Disposal: Carefully place the outer protective cap back on the needle (do not recap by hand) and then unscrew the needle. Dispose of the used needle immediately in a sharps container. Never reuse a needle.

Caution & Warnings:

  • Single-Use Only: Each ACCUMAX Pen Needle is for single-use only. Do not reuse needles. Reuse can lead to infection, dulling of the needle, and inaccurate dosing.
  • Sterility: Do not use if the protective tab is broken or the needle appears damaged.
  • Sharps Disposal: Always dispose of used needles in an approved sharps container to prevent accidental needle sticks.
  • Keep Out of Reach: Store out of the reach of children.
  • Consult Healthcare Professional: Always follow the advice of your doctor or pharmacist regarding injection techniques and medication administration.
