How to Use
Ensure a new, clean Braun disposable lens filter is attached to the thermometer tip.
Press the power button. Wait for the readiness beep and the display to show the standby screen.
Select the appropriate age setting using the AgeSmart button (0-3 months, 3-36 months, 36 months+).
Gently insert the probe into the ear canal. Ensure a snug fit for accurate reading.
Press and release the start button. A long beep indicates the end of the measurement.
Remove the thermometer and read the temperature on the display.
Eject the used lens filter by pressing the button below the probe.
Turn off the thermometer or it will automatically power off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
Caution & Warnings
Always use new, clean Braun disposable lens filters to ensure hygiene and accuracy. Do not reuse lens filters.
Do not use the thermometer on an ear that has an infection, discharge, or injury.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never immerse the thermometer in water or any other liquid.
Consult a doctor if you have concerns about a fever, especially in infants.
If the device has been stored in a cold or hot environment, allow it to acclimatize to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before use.
