How to Use
- Pre-clean Devices: Thoroughly clean devices with an appropriate detergent to remove all organic matter and visible debris. Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Drain Excess Water: Ensure devices are free of excess water before immersing them in CIDEX OPA Solution.
- Immerse Devices: Completely immerse clean, rinsed devices in CIDEX OPA Solution. Ensure all surfaces, lumens, and channels are filled with the solution, eliminating any air pockets.
- Soak Time: Refer to the device manufacturer's instructions for the specific contact time required for high-level disinfection, typically 5-12 minutes at 20°C, or as per local guidelines.
- Rinse Thoroughly: After the required contact time, remove devices from the solution and rinse them thoroughly by immersing them in at least three separate rinses of sterile or potable tap water, each for a minimum of one minute.
- Dry and Store: Completely dry devices and store them in a manner that prevents recontamination before use.
