How to Use

1. 1. Ensure the affected limb is clean and dry. Apply appropriate stockinette and padding over the limb to protect the skin.
2. 2. Wearing protective gloves, open the DELTACAST ELITE roll. Immerse the tape in lukewarm water (approximately 21-24°C) for 5-10 seconds, gently squeezing the roll to ensure full saturation.
3. 3. Remove the tape from the water, squeeze out any excess water, and begin applying immediately to the limb.
4. 4. Wrap the tape smoothly and evenly around the limb, ensuring each layer overlaps the previous one by one-half to two-thirds. Avoid excessive tension.
5. 5. Mold the cast to the desired anatomical shape during the initial setting time, which is typically 3-5 minutes from water activation.
6. 6. Allow the cast to fully cure for approximately 20-30 minutes before permitting weight-bearing or full use, or as advised by a healthcare professional.
7. 7. Trim or finish the edges of the cast as necessary for patient comfort and proper fit.
