How to Use:

1. 1. Ensure the patient's skin is clean and dry. Apply appropriate stockinette and cast padding to protect the skin and bony prominences.
2. 2. Open the DELTACAST ELITE casting tape package and immerse the roll in room-temperature water (20-24°C) for 5-10 seconds, squeezing gently to ensure complete saturation.
3. 3. Remove the roll from water, squeeze out excess water, and begin applying immediately around the injured limb in a smooth, overlapping spiral motion.
4. 4. Mold the cast to the desired contour within 3-5 minutes of application, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit.
5. 5. Allow the cast to fully set and cure, which typically takes about 20-30 minutes for weight-bearing strength.
6. 6. Trim any rough edges and apply protective coverings if required for water exposure.
