How to Use

1. Preparation: Ensure the patient's skin is clean and dry. Apply appropriate stockinette and cast padding over the affected limb, ensuring adequate cushioning and protection.
2. Wear Gloves: Always wear protective gloves as the resin is water-activated and can be sticky.
3. Activate Tape: Submerge the roll of DELTACAST ELITE casting tape in water at room temperature (20-24°C) for approximately 5-10 seconds. Squeeze the roll gently to remove excess water.
4. Application: Begin wrapping the tape spirally around the limb, overlapping each layer by one-half to two-thirds the width of the tape. Maintain even tension and avoid overtightening.
5. Molding: Continuously mold the cast with your hands for 3-5 minutes to ensure proper fit and a smooth finish as the tape hardens.
6. Setting Time: The cast will be rigid enough for weight-bearing (if applicable) in approximately 20 minutes and fully cured within 24 hours.
