How to Use
- Prepare the patient's limb by applying a stockinette and adequate cast padding to protect the skin.
- Wear appropriate protective gloves before handling the casting tape.
- Immerse the DELTA-CAST Elite roll in lukewarm water (21-27°C) for approximately 3-5 seconds, squeezing gently to ensure complete saturation.
- Remove the tape from water and squeeze out excess water. The working time begins immediately after water activation.
- Wrap the tape circumferentially around the injured limb, ensuring smooth, even layers. Overlap each turn by one-half to two-thirds the width of the tape.
- Mold the cast into the desired anatomical shape using firm, continuous pressure to achieve a strong, well-fitting cast.
- The cast will become rigid within 3-5 minutes and can bear weight in approximately 20-30 minutes, with full strength achieved within 24 hours.
