How to Use

1. Ensure the patient's skin is clean, dry, and protected by applying appropriate stockinette and cast padding over the injured limb.
2. Wear protective gloves before handling the DELTACAST PRINTS casting tape to prevent the resin from adhering to your skin.
3. Immerse the sealed roll of tape in lukewarm water (approximately 21-24°C) for 5-10 seconds, gently squeezing the roll to ensure thorough and even water saturation.
4. Remove the roll from the water and squeeze out any excess water.
5. Immediately apply the wet tape, wrapping it circumferentially around the injured limb with consistent, even tension. Overlap each layer by one-half to two-thirds the width of the tape.
6. Smooth and mold the tape to the desired anatomical shape before it begins to set, typically within 3-5 minutes after water activation.
7. Allow the cast to fully cure and harden, which usually takes approximately 20-30 minutes to achieve full weight-bearing strength.
8. Continuously monitor the patient for any signs of discomfort, pressure points, swelling, or neurovascular compromise after cast application.
