How to Use
- Ensure the patient's skin is clean and dry. Apply a stockinette and appropriate cast padding over the affected area to protect the skin.
- Wear protective gloves before handling the casting tape.
- Immerse the DELTACAST PRINTS roll in water (20-24 degrees Celsius) for 5-10 seconds, squeezing gently to ensure complete saturation.
- Remove excess water by gently squeezing the roll.
- Begin wrapping the tape immediately, ensuring each layer overlaps by approximately one-half to two-thirds the width of the previous layer.
- Smooth and mold the cast with gloved hands within the working time (typically 3-5 minutes) to achieve the desired shape and ensure good lamination between layers.
- Allow the cast to fully set. Weight-bearing should only occur after the cast has completely hardened (typically within 20-30 minutes for initial rigidity, but full strength can take longer).

- For professional use only; application should be performed by trained medical personnel.
- Always wear protective gloves during application as the resin is sticky and can irritate skin.
- Monitor the patient closely for signs of circulatory impairment, nerve compression, or skin irritation after cast application.
- Avoid getting the cast wet once applied, as this can compromise its integrity and lead to skin problems.
- Keep out of reach of children before application.
- Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place and keep them sealed until ready for use to prevent premature hardening.
