How to Use

For proper application, follow these steps, preferably by a trained healthcare professional:

1. Preparation: Ensure the skin is clean and dry. Apply a stockinette and appropriate cast padding to protect the skin and bony prominences.
2. Activation: Dip the DELTACAST SOFT tape roll in lukewarm water (21-24°C) for a few seconds, squeezing gently to remove excess water.
3. Application: Wrap the tape spirally around the injured limb, overlapping each layer by approximately one-half to two-thirds the width of the tape.
4. Molding: Immediately after application, mold the cast to the desired anatomical shape before it begins to set. Work quickly but smoothly.
5. Setting: The cast will begin to set in approximately 3-5 minutes and will be weight-bearing in about 20-30 minutes, depending on the number of layers and water temperature.

• Do not apply directly to skin; always use with appropriate stockinette and padding.
