How to Use:

1. Ensure the patient's skin is clean, dry, and protected with an appropriate stockinette and padding before cast application.
2. Wear protective gloves as the tape's resin reacts with moisture and can adhere to skin.
3. Immerse the DELTACAST SOFT roll in lukewarm water (20-24°C) for approximately 5-10 seconds, gently squeezing to remove any excess water.
4. Apply the tape smoothly and evenly around the injured limb, ensuring each layer overlaps the previous one by about one-half to two-thirds of the tape's width.
5. Mold the cast gently to conform to the natural contours of the limb, ensuring uniform tension and comprehensive support.
6. The cast will typically set within 3-5 minutes and reach sufficient strength for weight-bearing in approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on ambient temperature and the number of layers applied.
7. Trim any excess material and finish the edges as needed for a comfortable and secure fit.
