How to Use

1. Preparation: Ensure the patient's skin is clean, dry, and free from any wounds or irritations. Apply a stockinette and appropriate padding (e.g., DELTACAST Padding) to protect the skin and bony prominences.

2. Immersion: Immerse the DELTACAST SOFT roll in temperate water (20-24°C) for 5-10 seconds, squeezing gently to ensure thorough wetting.

3. Application: Apply the casting tape immediately after immersion. Wrap spirally around the limb, overlapping each layer by approximately one-half to two-thirds of the tape's width. Use light tension and smooth out each layer to ensure good lamination and prevent wrinkles.

4. Molding: Gently mold the cast to the desired shape, ensuring proper anatomical alignment and support. The tape will begin to set within minutes.

5. Setting: The cast will be firm enough for weight-bearing (if applicable) within 20-30 minutes, and full strength is achieved within 24 hours.
