- Apply the casting tape spirally, overlapping the previous layer by one-half to two-thirds, ensuring smooth contours.
- Mold the cast to the desired anatomical shape before it begins to set, typically within 3-5 minutes.
- Allow the cast to fully cure, which usually takes about 20-30 minutes, to achieve maximum strength.
