How to Use:

1. Ensure the patient's skin is clean, dry, and free of any wounds or irritations.
2. Apply appropriate stockinette and sufficient cast padding to protect the skin and bony prominences.
3. Don protective gloves (non-latex recommended) before opening the FLASHCAST pouch.
4. Immerse the FLASHCAST Synthetic Fibreglass Casting Tape in water at room temperature (20-25°C) for approximately 5-10 seconds.
5. Gently squeeze the roll 2-3 times to remove excess water, ensuring even saturation.
6. Begin wrapping the tape spirally, overlapping by 1/2 to 2/3 of the previous layer, maintaining uniform tension.
7. Mold the cast to the desired anatomical contours during the setting time (typically 3-5 minutes from water immersion).
8. Allow approximately 20-30 minutes for the cast to fully set and achieve weight-bearing strength, as per manufacturer guidelines.
9. Instruct the patient on cast care, including signs of complications and avoiding cast damage.
