How to Use
- Prepare the limb by applying appropriate stockinette and padding to protect the skin.
- Hold the GYPSONA BP bandage roll loosely and immerse it at an angle in water (20-25°C) until all air bubbles cease to appear.
- Gently squeeze the roll to remove any excess water; do not wring the bandage.
- Apply the bandage smoothly and evenly, layer by layer, ensuring no undue tension. Overlap each layer by approximately 50% to achieve optimal strength.
- Gently mold the bandage to the limb's contours before it sets completely. The typical setting time is between 2-5 minutes.
- Allow the cast to fully dry. The drying process can take 24-72 hours depending on the cast thickness and environmental conditions, before full weight-bearing or use.
