How to Use

1. Ensure the affected limb is clean, dry, and adequately protected with appropriate stockinette and undercast padding to prevent direct skin contact with plaster.
2. Immerse the GYPSONA bandage roll completely in lukewarm water (approximately 20-25°C) for 5-10 seconds until bubbling ceases, indicating full saturation.
3. Gently squeeze the bandage to remove excess water, ensuring it remains saturated but is not dripping profusely.
4. Apply the bandage smoothly and evenly around the limb, overlapping each layer by approximately half the bandage width to ensure uniform strength.
5. Mold the bandage carefully to the anatomical contours of the limb, ensuring even thickness and support without creating pressure points.
6. Allow the cast to set fully; initial setting typically occurs within 2-5 minutes, with full weight-bearing strength developing within 24-72 hours, depending on cast thickness and environmental conditions.
7. Monitor the patient closely for any signs of circulatory impairment, swelling, or discomfort after application and during the setting process.
