How to Use
- Prepare the skin: Ensure the skin area is clean and dry. Apply appropriate padding (e.g., stockinette, cotton padding) to protect the skin and bony prominences.
- Dip the bandage: Immerse the GYPSONA S Plaster of Paris Bandage roll in lukewarm water (approx. 20-25°C) until bubbling stops (typically 5-10 seconds).
- Squeeze excess water: Gently squeeze the roll to remove excess water. Do not wring forcefully.
- Apply the bandage: Apply the bandage smoothly and evenly around the injured limb, avoiding wrinkles or excessive tension. Ensure each layer overlaps the previous one by half its width.
- Mould the cast: Mould the cast gently to conform to the limb's natural contours.
- Allow to set: Keep the limb in the desired position until the cast is firm (initial set usually takes 2-5 minutes). Full weight-bearing strength will be achieved after 24-48 hours.

- Do not apply directly to bare skin; always use appropriate padding.
- Avoid applying too tightly, which can compromise circulation.
