ANGIPLAST IV Cannula 24G: Precision Intravenous Access

The ANGIPLAST IV Cannula 24G is meticulously designed to provide reliable and comfortable intravenous access for medical professionals. This essential medical device ensures smooth venipuncture and consistent fluid delivery, making it ideal for a wide range of clinical applications. Each cannula is manufactured with high-quality, biocompatible materials, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

It features a sharp, precision-ground needle for effortless skin penetration and a flexible, kink-resistant catheter for secure dwelling in the vein. The 24G (yellow) color coding allows for quick and accurate gauge identification, streamlining clinical workflows. Individually packed and sterile, the ANGIPLAST IV Cannula maintains optimal hygiene standards.

Benefits of Use:

  • Ensures reliable and comfortable intravenous access for patients.
  • Designed for smooth venipuncture, minimizing patient discomfort and trauma.
  • Facilitates continuous and steady fluid flow for infusions and medication administration.
  • Individually sterile-packed to maintain sterility and enhance safety.
  • Color-coded (yellow for 24G) for quick and accurate gauge identification by medical staff.
  • Features a flexible catheter that helps reduce the risk of phlebitis and improves patient comfort during extended dwell times.

How to Use:

  1. Preparation: Clean the intended venipuncture site thoroughly with an antiseptic solution and allow it to dry completely.
  2. Tourniquet Application: Apply a tourniquet proximal to the venipuncture site to distend the vein, making it more visible and palpable.
  3. Venipuncture: Grasp the ANGIPLAST IV Cannula 24G firmly by the hub. Insert the needle, bevel up, through the skin and into the chosen vein.
  4. Flashback Confirmation: Observe for a flashback of blood in the flashback chamber to confirm successful venous entry.
  5. Catheter Advancement: Once flashback is confirmed, slowly advance the flexible catheter into the vein while gradually withdrawing the needle.
  6. Secure the Cannula: After the catheter is fully inserted, remove the needle completely (activating any safety mechanisms) and dispose of it immediately in an approved sharps container. Secure the cannula with appropriate sterile dressings and medical tape.
  7. Connect IV Line: Connect the desired IV line to the cannula hub, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection.
