How to Use
1. Perform hand hygiene and prepare the necessary equipment in an aseptic manner.
2. Spike the IV fluid bag with the drip chamber end of the IV set, ensuring the air vent (if present) is open.
3. Hang the IV fluid bag on an IV pole.
4. Squeeze the drip chamber to fill it approximately halfway.
5. Open the roller clamp to prime the tubing, allowing fluid to flow through and remove all air bubbles. Close the clamp once priming is complete.
6. Connect the primed IV set to the patient's intravenous catheter using aseptic technique.
7. Regulate the flow rate according to the prescribed infusion rate using the roller clamp.
8. Monitor the patient and the infusion regularly.
