How to Use
- Clean the wound area gently with a sterile solution according to local clinical practice.
- Ensure the skin surrounding the wound is dry to allow for optimal adhesion of the dressing.
- Select a dressing size that allows the Safetac border to overlap the surrounding skin by at least 1-2 cm.
- Remove the release films from the adhesive side of the dressing.
- Apply the adhesive side to the wound, ensuring the center of the dressing covers the wound completely.
- Gently smooth the edges of the dressing to ensure secure adhesion to the surrounding skin.
- Replace the dressing when clinically indicated or when the exudate reaches the edge of the absorbent pad.
Caution & Warnings
- Do not reuse the dressing; it is intended for single use only. Reuse may lead to infection or loss of function.
- The dressing is supplied sterile. Do not use if the sterile package is damaged or opened.
