How to Use:

1. Ensure proper hand hygiene and don sterile gloves before handling the catheter.
2. Open the sterile packaging carefully, maintaining aseptic technique, and connect the catheter to an appropriate suction apparatus.
3. Pre-oxygenate the patient as per medical protocol or physician's instructions, if necessary.
4. Gently and smoothly insert the catheter into the trachea or bronchial tube without applying suction to prevent tissue trauma.
5. Once positioned, apply intermittent suction while slowly withdrawing and rotating the catheter to effectively clear secretions.
6. Limit each suction pass to 10-15 seconds to prevent hypoxia and mucosal damage.
7. Discard the used catheter immediately after each use into an appropriate sharps or biohazard container.
