How to Use:

1. Cleanse the wound: Gently clean the wound area with saline solution or as directed by a healthcare professional.
2. Dry surrounding skin: Ensure the skin around the wound is dry to allow for optimal adhesion of the dressing.
3. Choose appropriate size: Select a Mepilex dressing that extends at least 2 cm beyond the wound edges. The dressing can be cut if needed.
4. Remove protective film: Peel off the release film from the adhesive side of the dressing.
5. Apply the dressing: Apply the adhesive side to the wound, ensuring it covers the entire wound and overlaps onto the surrounding skin. Do not stretch the dressing.
6. Secure (if needed): For added security, especially in difficult-to-dress areas, the dressing may be held in place with a secondary bandage or medical tape.
7. Change frequency: The dressing can be left in place for several days depending on the wound condition and exudate level, or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Caution & Warnings:

• Do not use on patients with a known hypersensitivity to the dressing or its components.
• Do not re-sterilize or reuse the dressing, as this may compromise its sterility and performance.
