How to Use

1. Cleanse the wound area gently with a suitable wound cleanser or saline solution.
2. Ensure the skin around the wound is dry.
3. Remove the release films from the adhesive side of the Mepilex Border Flex Oval dressing.
4. Apply the adhesive side to the skin, ensuring the dressing covers the wound and extends beyond its edges by at least 1-2 cm to provide effective seal.
5. Smooth the dressing gently to ensure good adhesion, pressing down on the borders.
6. The dressing can remain in place for several days, depending on the wound condition and exudate level. Change when clinically indicated or when the exudate reaches the edge of the absorbent pad.
