How to Use

1. Cleanse the wound thoroughly with saline solution or as directed by a healthcare professional.
2. Gently dry the skin around the wound area, ensuring it is free from moisture or excessive hair.
3. Select the appropriate size of Mepilex Border Post-Op, ensuring the foam pad covers the wound and overlaps the surrounding skin by at least 1-2 cm.
4. Remove the release films from the adhesive side of the dressing.
5. Carefully apply the dressing to the wound, ensuring the Safetac layer makes full contact with the surrounding skin. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
6. Smooth down the edges of the dressing to ensure secure adhesion and to prevent leakage.
7. The dressing can remain in place for several days, depending on the wound condition and exudate level, or as advised by a healthcare professional.
