How to Use

1. Gently cleanse the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser or saline solution, then pat the surrounding skin dry.
2. Carefully remove the release film from the adhesive side of the Mepilex Lite dressing.
3. Apply the adhesive side of the dressing directly onto the wound, ensuring it covers the entire wound bed with an overlap onto the surrounding healthy skin.
4. Do not stretch the dressing during application to maintain its conformability and proper adhesion.
5. Secure with secondary fixation if necessary, especially if used under compression.
6. Change the dressing according to clinical practice or as directed by a healthcare professional, typically when exudate reaches the edges of the dressing or every few days.

• Do not use Mepilex Lite with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions (e.g., Dakin's solution) or hydrogen peroxide, as these may compromise the dressing's integrity.
