How to Use:

1. Cleanse the wound area thoroughly with saline solution or as directed by a healthcare professional.
2. Ensure the skin around the wound is dry.
3. Remove Mepitel from its sterile packaging.
4. Cut Mepitel to the desired size if necessary, ensuring it overlaps the wound margins by at least 1-2 cm.
5. Apply the Mepitel dressing directly to the wound surface.
6. Apply a suitable secondary absorbent dressing over Mepitel to manage exudate (e.g., Mepilex, gauze, or an absorbent pad).
7. Secure the secondary dressing with retention tape or a bandage, if required.
8. Mepitel can be left in place for up to 14 days, depending on the wound condition and exudate level. Change the secondary dressing as needed.
