How to Use

1. Ensure patient is comfortably positioned with their head supported.
2. Twist off the cap from one Minims single-dose unit.
3. Gently pull down the lower eyelid and ask the patient to look upwards.
4. Instill one or two drops into the conjunctival sac.
5. Instruct the patient to blink gently a few times to evenly distribute the solution across the ocular surface.
6. Immediately dispose of the used Minims unit after a single use, even if solution remains.
7. The eye should then be examined under a cobalt blue filter light to observe the staining.

Caution & Warnings

• For external ophthalmic diagnostic use only.
• To be administered strictly by a qualified healthcare professional.
• Do not use if the solution appears discolored, cloudy, or if the container is damaged.
• Avoid direct contact of the dropper tip with the eye, eyelids, or any other surface to prevent contamination.
• Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them, as the dye may stain soft contact lenses.
• Patients should be informed of the temporary bright yellow/green coloration of the tears, and potentially the skin around the eye, which will resolve naturally.
• Rarely, mild transient stinging or burning may occur upon instillation.
• Seek medical advice if irritation persists, worsens, or if any allergic reaction is suspected.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
