Ask the patient to tilt their head backward and look upwards. 4. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. 5. Hold the Minims unit directly over the eye and carefully squeeze to instill one or two drops into the lower conjunctival sac. 6. Instruct the patient to gently close their eye for a brief moment to allow the solution to spread. 7. Immediately discard the used Minims unit after application to maintain sterility. 8. Avoid touching the tip of the Minims unit to the eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.
