How to Use:
Cold Therapy:
- Place the gel pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
- Wrap the frozen pack in a cloth or the provided sleeve to protect skin.
- Apply to the affected area for a maximum of 20 minutes. Wait at least 20 minutes before reapplying.
Hot Therapy (Microwave):
- Place the gel pack flat in the microwave oven.
- Heat at 640W for 30 seconds.
- Knead the pack to distribute heat evenly.
- If more heat is needed, return to the microwave for additional 15-second intervals, kneading after each interval, until desired temperature is reached. Do not exceed 75 seconds total heating time.
- Wrap the warmed pack in a cloth or the provided sleeve.
- Apply to the affected area for a maximum of 20 minutes. Wait at least 20 minutes before reapplying.
Hot Therapy (Hot Water):
- Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat.
- Immerse the gel pack in the hot water for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the pack carefully from the water.
- Wrap the warmed pack in a cloth or the provided sleeve.
- Apply to the affected area for a maximum of 20 minutes. Wait at least 20 minutes before reapplying.
Caution & Warnings:
- Always wrap the gel pack in a cloth or sleeve before applying to skin to prevent burns or frostbite.
- Do not apply directly to open wounds or broken skin.
- Do not puncture the pack. If the gel leaks, dispose of the pack immediately.
- Do not ingest the gel. If ingested, seek medical attention.
- Supervise children and individuals with impaired sensation during use.
- Consult a doctor before use if you have circulatory problems, diabetes, or nerve damage.
- Discontinue use if discomfort or irritation occurs.
