How to Use

1. 1. Prepare the limb: Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and protected with appropriate padding (e.g., stockinette or cotton wool) to prevent direct contact with the plaster.
2. 2. Submerge the roll: Quickly immerse the POP Plastra roll in lukewarm water (20-25°C) until bubbles cease, ensuring even saturation.
3. 3. Squeeze excess water: Gently squeeze the roll to remove excess water, being careful not to wring it out completely.
4. 4. Apply the bandage: Begin wrapping the bandage smoothly and evenly around the limb, starting from the distal (farthest from the body) part and moving proximally (towards the body). Overlap each layer by approximately half the width of the bandage.
5. 5. Mold and shape: As you apply, continuously mold the plaster to the contours of the limb to achieve a snug and customized fit.
6. 6. Allow to set: Keep the limb still until the plaster hardens (typically within 5-10 minutes, full weight-bearing might take longer). The cast will generate heat during the setting process.
