How to Use
- Ensure your hands are clean and dry before handling the test strips.
- Insert a new StatStrip Xpress test strip into the test port of your StatStrip Xpress Glucose Meter.
- Wait for the meter to display the 'apply blood' symbol.
- Obtain a blood sample using a lancing device, typically from a fingertip.
- Gently touch the tip of the blood sample to the absorbent end of the test strip until the blood is drawn into the strip.
- The meter will begin the test and display your blood glucose result in a few seconds.
- Remove and dispose of the used test strip appropriately after each test.
Caution & Warnings
- For in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not ingest.
- Do not reuse test strips. Each strip is for single use only.
- Check the expiry date on the test strip vial. Do not use expired strips as they may yield inaccurate results.
- Store the test strips in their original vial with the cap tightly closed to protect them from moisture and light.
