1. Ensure the skin around the I.V. insertion site is clean, dry, and free from any residue. 2. Peel back the liner from the dressing to expose the adhesive surface and the CHG gel pad. 3. Carefully center the dressing over the I.V. insertion site, ensuring the CHG gel pad is directly over the insertion point. 4. Smooth the dressing firmly from the center outwards to ensure complete adhesion, avoiding wrinkles or air bubbles. 5. Secure any catheter tubing with the included tape strips, if applicable, to further enhance securement. 6. Regularly monitor the dressing and I.V. site for signs of infection or dislodgement, and change the dressing per institutional protocol or when clinically indicated.Caution & Warnings
