How to Use

1. Consult Your Physician: Always use the VACOped M under the direct supervision and guidance of a qualified healthcare professional who will determine the appropriate range of motion and duration of use.
2. Prepare for Application: Sit comfortably. Ensure your foot and lower leg are clean and dry.
3. Open the Boot: Release all straps and open the boot shells.
4. Position Your Foot: Carefully place your foot into the soft liner, ensuring your heel is firmly seated at the back. Your foot should be centered within the boot.
5. Secure the Liner: Close the soft liner around your leg and foot.
6. Fasten the Straps: Close the outer straps firmly, starting from the bottom (foot) upwards to the top (calf). Ensure the boot is snug but not uncomfortably tight, avoiding any restriction of circulation.
7. Adjust ROM (If Prescribed): If your doctor has prescribed specific range of motion settings, adjust the hinge mechanisms accordingly.
8. Initial Weight-Bearing: Follow your doctor's instructions regarding weight-bearing. You may initially require crutches or other walking aids.
9. Regular Checks: Regularly inspect your skin for any redness, irritation, or pressure points. Adjust the boot if necessary.
