How to Use
- Break off about 45 cm (18 inches) of floss.
- Wind the ends of the floss around the middle fingers of each hand, leaving about 3-5 cm (1-2 inches) of floss to work with.
- Guide the floss between your teeth using your index fingers and thumbs.
- Use a gentle back-and-forth motion to ease the floss between the contact points of your teeth.
- Once past the contact point, curve the floss into a C-shape against one tooth.
- Slide the floss gently below the gumline.
- Move the floss up and down against the tooth surface, cleaning thoroughly.
- Repeat the process for the adjacent tooth surface.
- Unroll a fresh section of floss for each new tooth to avoid transferring plaque.
- Floss at least once a day, preferably before brushing.
