- When the floss reaches the gum line, curve it into a C-shape against one tooth.
- Slide the floss gently into the space between the gum and the tooth.
- Move the floss up and down against the tooth surface, cleaning below the gum line.
- Repeat this process on the adjacent tooth surface and for all other teeth, using a fresh section of floss for each tooth.
